Using a font would make my life a bit easier, but handwritten would be more personal

Ideally? Find someone who can translate your handwritten letters into a font.

But here is my take based on reality. If you're doing a strip, use the font of your choice for convenience.

If you are doing a single, like this one to get our attention, use the handwritten text instead as it is very easy to read.

Keep up the great comics!

Hmm... So I would have to create my own font? That might be little bit too much work to solve a "problem" that only bothers me. But using font on my strip comic sounds like a reasonable advice

Make your own font OUT of your handwriting. That's what I did for my comic. I'll send you a link for caligraphr, it works great.

I looked it up and that is what I was hoping someone had done. I bookmarked the site for my own use.

The font looks fine to me. Feel free to use the one that's easier.

I would recommend using a font instead of handwriting, it gives the page a more professional feel. I've always put legibility first when putting text on a page. I don't think it will take away from the personal touch you put on the pages.

1 You are the artist. If you are satisfied, do it.

2 If anybody argues see 1.

It seems most people are happy with either option, so I probably start using a font, simply because it's easier for me

Your Comics are very easy to read. I didn't realize you were doing the lettering by hand. That said do what works for you. It's not like it's the unreadable mess I would produce.
